The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore is cohosting the Lower Shore Volunteer Fair on Saturday, June 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wor-Wic Community College in the Student Center. Over 40 nonprofit organizations’ representatives will be available to talk to interested persons regarding volunteer opportunities.
This free event will provide individuals and groups information about volunteer opportunities in the community. For nonprofit organizations, it’s an opportunity to share information and resources about their mission and volunteer needs with those who want to volunteer. The event will also feature youth activities, health information, door prizes and more!
We thank the following vendors who will be available to share valuable information and community resources for you and your family: PRMC Wagner Wellness Van, Wicomico Public Library Bookmobile, Atlantic General Hospital, American Red Cross, The Girl Scouts, Women Supporting Women, Three Lower Counties Community Services, Big Brother Big Sisters, Telamon, Inc. and more!
We invite you to check out an all ages fun event that will include: Kona Ice, a prize wheel, Lollipop the Clown and Sherman the Shorebird! Don’t forget to sign up at the event to win one of our door prizes, including tickets to an upcoming Shorebirds’ game, an iPad mini and a large big screen HD TV!
Please register early. Space is limited to 50 exhibitors and is open to all 501(c)3 organizations. All other interested parties must contact us prior to registration.
Registration includes one 6′ table, two chairs and refreshments.
Electrical access is limited to first 15 requests – first come, first serve – and must be indicated on registration.
