Local couple raises funds for The Believe in Tomorrow House by the Sea

A local couple has donated $5,000 for the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation which provides exceptional hospital and respite housing services to critically ill children and their families. The Believe in Tomorrow House by the Sea in Ocean City, Md. offers chronically ill children and their families the opportunity to relax in a beach style family vacation and spend precious time together amidst the struggles of childhood illness.

Bill and Carolyn Johnston have been supporters of the organization for more than 20 years. This past summer their Gold sponsorship of the Believe in Tomorrow 5k in Bethany Beach, De. created an added fund-raising boost to the event. The Johnstons used their Donor Advised Fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore to create a matching donation for a combined total of $10,000 to the organization.

“The support of Bill and Carolyn was a major part of the success of this first year event,” said Believe In Tomorrow Founder Brian Morrison. “Their commitment to the children and families that we serve has made a positive difference in many lives,” he added.
