The Eastern Shore Association of Municipalities (ESAM) recently established a designated college scholarship fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) with an initial contribution of $45,000. The new fund will be used to support post-secondary education among winners of the annual “If I were Mayor Essay Competition” for students who have won the competition in the eight counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
