I.P.P.S. Mentoring Program Receives $5,000 from Community Foundation


The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) awarded a $5,000 Community Needs Grant to the I.P.P. S. (Involved Parents Productive Students) Mentoring Program to support a mentoring project at both Wicomico County Detention Center and Poplar Hill Pre-Release Center.

The Mission of I.P.P.S. Mentoring Program, Inc, is a commitment to develop and promote high quality, educationally based, one-on-one mentoring programs that provide a nurturing and caring environment for inmates and their families, within a facility and the community to which they will one day be released. The program strives and promotes diversity in all of its endeavors.
