The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, Inc. awarded MAC, Inc. $20,000 to support the organization’s Home-Delivered Meal Program, better known as "Meals on Wheels." The initiative provides a life-giving service to the homebound elderly who are confined to bed, lack transportation, or are too frail to cook for themselves.
This grant was supported by three Field of Interest Funds held at the Community Foundation. The Funds include: $10,000 from the Albert J. Bailey Wicomico County Fund; $5,000 from the James G. Barrett Worcester County Fund; and $5,000 from the Somerset County Fund.
