    • The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, placement and scheduling of volunteers throughout the ministries of HALO.
    • Must be self-motivated and have great phone skills
    • Manage recruitment and coordination of volunteers
    • Maintain a database of volunteers
    • Plan and conduct recognition for volunteers
    • Collect and report volunteer data
    • Work closely with HALO’s ministry leaders

  • HALO – Part time Cashier at HALO’s Bargain Center: 
    • The Cashier/Sales clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs and efficiently and accurately completing sales and transactions at the register.
    • Must be self-motivated
    • Must have great people skills
    • Assist with building, up-keep and completion of displays of merchandise
    • Assist with ensuring that the appearance of the store is pleasing to the customer.
    • Stock store shelves with merchandise when needed
    • Reconcile cash register drawers at the end of shift

  • Furnace Town Museum: Store Clerk
    • Ability to work with the public in a positive, enthusiastic manner.
    • Ability to operate a cash register, to learn the POS system, credit card apparatus and maintain accurate daily cash and activity records.
    • Must be able to lift 15 – 20 pounds and to spend most of a 7-hour shift standing and moving around (including walking the site to open all buildings).
    • Must learn about Furnace Town, past and present, in order to provide appropriate orientation for visitors and school groups and answer questions.
